One more new office of the European Azerbaijan Society in Istanbul
Turkey office of European Azerbaijan Society (EAS) was opened in Istanbul. Faig Bagirov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Turkey, Minister of Turkey for European Union, Egemen Bagish, Deputy Minister of Economy Mustafa Sever, former Minister Internal Affairs, Idris Naim Shahin and other officials participated at the event.President of EAS Taleh Heydarov delivered a speech at the event and called attention that the organization leaded by him was founded 5 years ago. He stressed that one of the main objectives of the EAS is to inform the European public of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: "We want to explain the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to politicians in Europe. We will do our best to further strengthen a friendship between Turkey and Azerbaijan. "
E.Bagısh said in his speech that relations between two countries further strengthen every other day: "Somebody wishes to cause confrontation between us, there were some forces break links between Turkey and Azerbaijan. However, we are going on our way despite all of that as one body, one punch, one body and brain. "
Minister emphasized that opening of EAC office in Turkey will contribute to development of relations between two countries: "Now I will be more powerful sitting at the meeting table in Brussels as a powerful voice of Turkey accompanied by a strong voice of Azerbaijan will have an impact in Europe. Baku is a window of Turkey opened to the Caucasus. In case of hand in hand actions of Baku and Istanbul, there will be nothing that we fail to accomplish."
E.Bagısh told about the events of 1915 and stressed that they will not accept these baseless claims: " Parliaments of various world countries took decisions and though they could make us accept such lies, accusations, slanders. They will never force us to accept any lie, accusations, slanders, now matter a hundredth or thousandth year. At the end our Prime Minister also delivered the necessary messages to the White House. We are continuing to deliver necessary messages in Europe as well. The world would rather discuss what happens today than the events claimed to happened 100 years ago. Let them discuss Azerbaijan\\\\\\\'s occupied territories, refugees Khojaly massacre ".
The Ambassador , Faig Bagirov recalled 95th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence will be celebrated in the next few days. Ambassador marked that EAC is founded by students educated in Europe and an objective of the organization is make Azerbaijan famous in Europe and develop political, economic and cultural relations with European countries.
